Composée par deux couches successives de pigment noir, cette sérigraphie laisse apparaître par jeu de matières les contours et anfractuosités de l’astre lunaire, tandis que cherche à s’imposer, à la marge, la blancheur des traits de coupe et autres symboles typographiques, habituellement tenus hors champ.
Le visible et l’invisible se disputent ici le terrain de la feuille de papier.
This silkscreen is made up of two successive layers of black pigment; the interplay of materials let the contours and crevices of the moon appear, while the whiteness of the cut lines and other typographic symbols –usually kept outside the picture– tries to impose itself on the margin.
Here, the visible and the invisible fight over the territory of the paper sheet.
