Images extraites de la série Zoo-morph, toujours en cours. C’est une enquête sur la forme matérielle et l’approche thématique des sculptures animalières à travers l’histoire de l’art. Basés sur une vaste collection de reproductions anciennes - une coupe transversale de cultures dites « populaires » et « élitistes » - les fragments sont étendus et confrontés par la superposition et l’adaptation numérique. L’animal devient un instrument, un moyen de transport pour partager une vision plus ou moins inconsciente et symbolique de l’histoire de l’art.

Images taken from the Zoo-morph series, still in progress. It is an investigation into the material form and the thematic approach of animal sculptures through the history of art. Based on a vast collection of ancient reproductions – a cross-section of so-called “popular” and “elitist” cultures – the fragments are extended and confronted through layering and digital adaptation. The animal becomes an instrument, a means of transport to share a more or less unconscious and symbolic vision of the history of art.Edition published on the occasion of the artist's participation in the 4X3 project
