"Long Walk Home" adopte une approche diariste pour documenter les lieux où Olly s'est senti chez lui au cours des quatre dernières années : Glasgow, Stuttgart et Rotterdam. Contrairement au village rural où il a grandi, ces villes industrielles forment une toile de fond bétonnée dans la vie du photographe écossais. La série explore l'idée de la maison et sert d'outil pour mieux comprendre ce qui l'entoure.
To celebrate four years of Electroménager, Olly Geary published a 48-page photo book.
'Long Walk Home' takes a diaristic approach to documenting the places which Olly has called home over the past four years - Glasgow, Stuttgart and Rotterdam. In contrast to the rural village where he grew up, these industrial cities form a concrete-clad backdrop to the Scottish photographer's life. The series explores the idea of home and acts as a tool to gain a deeper understanding of his surroundings.
