275 pesetas est un projet photographique d'Esther Pérez qui revisite ses débuts dans la photographie à Madrid à la fin des années 1980. Pendant ses études universitaires, elle gagnait sa vie en prenant des photos de style portrait d'étudiants aux côtés d'autres jeunes photographes. Ces images étaient développées dans son laboratoire, imprimées au format photo d'identité et utilisées à l'université. S'inspirant de ses vastes archives, le projet réfléchit aux défis sociaux et politiques de l'époque.
275 pesetas is a photographic project by Esther Pérez that revisits her early days in photography in Madrid in the late 1980s. While studying at university, she supported herself by taking portrait-style photos of students alongside other young photographers. These images were developed in her lab, printed in passport photo format, and used at the university. Drawing from her extensive archive, the project reflects on the social and political challenges of the era.
