PORTE-PAROLE

En novembre 2010, j'ai invité dix-neuf artistes à contribuer au projet PORTE-PAROLE. Pensée comme une interface entre leur parole et l'espace public, une affiche de format 90 x 190 cm imprimée au traceur noir et figurant une porte métallique close a été expédiée roulée à chacun d'entre eux.
De Chine, d'Espagne, des États-Unis, de Belgique, de Suède, d'Allemagne, d'Italie et de France, chaque affiche m'a été retournée une fois personnalisée pour être collée dans les ruelles du quartier Colombier à Rennes (FR) - surnommé le « château fort » en raison des tours et du réseau labyrinthique cloisonné par de nombreuses portes qui le constituent.

In November 2010, I invited nineteen artists to contribute to the project SPOKESDOOR. Designed as an interface between their speech and the public space, a rolled-up poster of 90 x 190 cm plotter printed in black representing a closed metal door was shipped to each of them. Each poster, duly personalised, was returned to me from China, Spain, U.S., Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Italy and France, to be displayed in a few spots around the streets of the Colombier neighbourhood in Rennes (FR). This neighbourhood has been nicknamed the "castle" because of the numerous towers that adorn it and the labyrinthine network of passageways partitioned by many doors.
