The Inscription, the stain, the assemblage and the creation of time are my devices. For me, the diversity of materials and of print mediums is a necessity. I consider “gestures” and “materials” as much as vocabulary than as syntactic forms that allow the spectators to imagine a narrative in their minds. My artworks question our surroundings, its peculiarity and the way we see and stereotype it. My interest for landscape goes beyond the mere forms of nature and also focuses on everything that makes up our surroundings -our environment- from architecture to our social system. Repetition is part of my practice and begs the question of the opposition between simplicity and complexity. It is motivated by the desire to overturn the space-time framework, drawing a parallel between our technological items and the forms of nature. The digital principle is essential to understand our world. The digital concept implies a link with unity and its representation -be this unity inherent to Nature, with the leaves of a tree or the hairs of a fur; or be it inherent to technology with the bricks of a wall for instance; or in our mechanical daily gestures.

Jet Lag is a collection dedicated to drawing, collage, photo-montage and other graphic experiments. Each artist is given free rein for each Jet Lag -they have to take the 24 available pages and make them their own. Each Jet Lag season is made of 10 Jet Lag.
