Twenty six Blank Rocks est un livre-bombe : vingt-six pierres lithographiques marquent la surface de chaque page d'une empreinte de pétrole brut prêt à s'enflammer. L'origine du livre ets une pierre (à imprimer comme à construire), la surface noire est à la fois une feuille vierge et une page palimpseste saturée d'écriture où tout et rien ne sont possibles à lire, chaque page du livre est un étendard anarchiste où l'encre noire devient l'essence, l'énergie d'une révolution de la pensée comme du regard.

La série des 26 empreintes de pierres lithographiques a été créditée par l'URDLA à Villeurbanne. 

Ce livre est le troisième volet d'une réflexion autour de l'oeuvre d'Ed Ruscha et fait suite à Some Belsunce Apartments (2008) et Various Samll Sparks (2014).

Twenty six Blank Rocks is a bombshell book: twenty-six lithographic stones mark the surface of each page with an imprint of crude oil ready to ignite. The origin of the book is a stone (to print as to build), the black surface is both a blank sheet and a palimpsest page saturated with writing where everything and nothing is possible to read, each page of the book is a anarchist standard where black ink becomes the essence, the energy of a revolution of thought as of gaze.

The series of 26 prints of lithographic stones has been credited by URDLA in Villeurbanne.

This book is the third part of a reflection on the work of Ed Ruscha and follows Some Belsunce Apartments (2008) and Various Samll Sparks (2014).
