Arlette est née de la rencontre entre trois artistes photographes établies aux Ateliers du Vent, Estelle Chaigne, Lise Gaudaire et Catherine Duverger. Leurs trois démarches, bien qu’éloignées dans la forme, se rejoignent autour de l’exploration du médium photographique et questionnent la plasticité de l’image, son dispositif et sa capacité à faire document.

Elles s’entourent d’artistes qu’elles aiment et qui travaillent l’image dans une mise en circulation de références et d’inspirations.

Arlette was born when three artist-photographers met at Ateliers du Vent, Estelle Chaigne, Lise Gaudaire and Catherine Duverger. Their three approaches, although different in form, converge around the exploration of the photographic medium and question the plasticity of the image, its device and its capacity to document.

They surround themselves with artists they like and who work on the image in a circulation of references and inspirations.
