4X3 est un projet artistique porté par l’association Lendroit éditions qui propose trois panneaux grands formats installés sur le domaine public. Le public peut ainsi découvrir tout au long de l’année, 7 jours sur 7 et à ciel ouvert, le travail d’artistes contemporains. Le projet a été élu au budget participatif de la ville de Rennes.

Myriam Mechita est une artiste française qui vit est travaille à Berlin et Paris. Elle enseigne le dessin à l'ésam Caen/Cherbourg.

"L'oeuvre de Myriam Mechita est tellurgique, les dessins et sculptures convoquent une palette de sentiments extrêmes : intensité, violence, beauté, peur, colère, magie, merveilleux, amour, mort, bestialité, douceur, explosion, jouissance et solitude. Des sentiments à la fois contraires et complémentaires nous envahissent."

4X3 is an artistic project carried by Lendroit éditions and proposes three large format panels installed on the public domain. The public can discover the work of contemporary artists throughout the year, 7 days a week and in the open air. The project was elected to the participatory budget of the city of Rennes.

Myrian Mechita is a French artist leaving and working in Berlin and Paris. She teaches drawing at ésam in Caen/Cherbourg  (college of arts and media).

« Myriam Mechita’s work is telluric, drawings and sculptures gather a palette of extreme feelings: intensity, violence, beauty, fear, anger, magic, wonder, love, death, animality, sweetness, explosion, pleasure and loneliness. Feelings that are both contrary and complementary overwhelm us. »
