Rencontre avec les étudiants et l'enseignant concepteurs de l’édition Rosia Montanå relatant le problème de l’exploitation aurifère transylvanienne, devenue polémique européenne, enjeu mondial. 

Rosia Montanå, village transylvanien, est le lieu de mouvements sociaux importants portés par des associations comme Albernus Maior, qui protestent depuis plus de dix ans contre l’exploitation aurifère du site, impliquant l’utilisation massive de cyanure par la société canadienne Rosia Montanå Gold Corporation. Le projet suppose également des expropriations et la création de villages artificiels pour le relogement. L’enjeu est ici la destruction d’un monde, au sens écologique et anthropologique. 

L’édition se compose de deux cahiers en vis-à-vis. 

Dans le premier, sont présentés des photographies du site de Rosia Montanå et de la manifestation hebdomadaire de Cluj-Napoca complétées par le texte de Sylvaine Bulle « Pourquoi nous révoltons-nous ? ». 

Dans le second est mis en forme une recherche documentaire extraite d’internet. Un travail graphique permet de mettre en évidence la présence et les enjeux de communication déployé par les différents acteurs de cette affaire.

Cette édition s'inscrit dans le programme européen A.C.T Democr[k]acy, initié par La Criée, centre d'art contemporain Rennes.

Meeting with the students and the teacher who designed Rosia Montanå, an edition about the problem of Transylvanian gold mining, which has become a European polemic and a global issue. 

Rosia Montanå is a Transylvanian village and is the scene of important social movements led by associations such as Albernus Maior, which have been protesting for more than ten years against gold mining at the site, involving the massive use of cyanide by the Canadian company Rosia Montanå Gold Corporation.

The project also involves expropriations and the creation of artificial villages for relocation. What is at stake here is the destruction of a world, in the ecological and anthropological sense. 

The edition consists of two booklets facing each other.

In the first one, photographs of the Rosia Montanå site and of the weekly demonstration in Cluj-Napoca are presented, with Sylvaine Bulle's text "Why do we revolt?”

In the second one, a documentary research extracted from the internet is presented. A graphic work allows to highlight the presence and the stakes of communication deployed by the various actors of this matter.
