À l'occasion de son exposition personnelle chez Florence Loewy en 2025, José Quintanar présente Dutch Landscape 21, 22 & 23, différents exercices de décomposition et recomposition d'un même dessin, la représentation d'un paysage. Dutch Landscape 21 est un inventaire de 41 formes en bois issues du dessin originel, conçues pour se deployer dans l'espace de la galerie. Dans Dutch Landscape 22, elles sont utilisées comme outils pour composer de nouveaux paysages. Dutch Landscape 23 est une publication qui répertorie l'ensemble de ces 41 outils, reproduits à échelle 1.
To mark his solo exhibition at Florence Loewy in 2025, José Quintanar presents Dutch Landscape 21, 22 & 23, a series of exercises in the decomposition and recomposition of a single drawing: the depiction of a landscape. Dutch Landscape 21 is an inventory of 41 wooden forms derived from the original drawing, designed to be arranged within the gallery space. In Dutch Landscape 22, they are used as tools to compose new landscapes. Dutch Landscape 23 is a publication cataloguing all 41 of these tools, reproduced at a scale of 1:1.
